Consequently, the Punjab Education Curriculum and Training Authority (PECTA) has deployed the Google ID teacher training program to calibrate the digital skills of educators across the province. PECTA will initiate the first phase of this architectural shift on June 2, hosting intensive four-day workshops in Lahore and Islamabad. Specifically, the program targets 34 master trainers at the PECTA Headquarters in Lahore and 32 master trainers in Islamabad. These specialists will master digital teaching methods to serve as catalysts for systemic change within their respective districts.
Furthermore, a second batch of 34 master trainers will commence their training from June 9 to June 12 in Lahore. To ensure maximum efficiency, PECTA has directed all CEOs and district education authorities to relieve nominated teachers from their standard duties. Moreover, the authority has finalized high-speed internet facilities and modern computer labs to maintain the precision of these technical sessions.
