Meet Dr. Komal Lalwani: A Dedicated Professional
Dr. Lalwani completed her medical education at a reputable college in interior Sindh. She has since taken on this crucial assignment, succeeding Dr. Meena Mehak. Consequently, Dr. Mehak was transferred to Karachi following her promotion and a new posting at a city hospital. Furthermore, doctors selected for Parliament House positions typically come from the Federal Government Services Hospital (FGSH) in Islamabad. Professional competence consistently serves as the primary criterion for these esteemed roles.
Embracing Inclusivity in National Service
The appointment of Dr. Komal Lalwani has garnered considerable appreciation within parliamentary circles. It notably reflects a commitment to inclusivity, showcasing the government’s decision to appoint a woman doctor from a minority community and rural Sindh to a key federal institution.
