Zong Powers Digital Education in Pakistan Through Strategic Partnership

Zong's commitment to digital education in Pakistan

Zong, a leader in Pakistan’s information services, reinforces its commitment to digital education Pakistan. They are expanding their collaboration with Knowledge Platform, marking the fourth year of this strategic partnership. A formal signing ceremony recently took place at Zong headquarters, underscoring their dedication to technological innovation and sustainable development.

Empowering Future Generations: The Digital Scholars Program

Through this collaboration, Zong significantly scales its Digital Scholars Program. This flagship initiative aims to bridge the educational divide, providing technology-enabled learning to underserved communities across Pakistan. Specifically, the program digitizes learning for Grades 9 and 10. Consequently, it transforms conventional models by introducing interactive digital classrooms, gamified educational content, and AI-powered analytics. These innovations empower both students and teachers, fostering modern, data-driven learning practices. Furthermore, personalized instruction and real-time performance insights enhance engagement and learning outcomes.

Achieving Impact: Program Milestones and Future Goals

By the close of 2025, the Zong Digital Scholars Program had already enrolled an impressive 35,000 in-school students. Additionally, it enabled 5,000 young women to participate in digital literacy and financial skills-building through gamified learning. Overall, 7,500 students received certification. Building on this remarkable momentum, the initiative plans to expand even further. In 2026, it aims to reach an additional 50,000 students, significantly broadening its reach and impact across Pakistan.

Expanding Reach: Learning Streams and Teacher Training

Since its inception, the program has consistently surpassed initial enrollment targets. It currently reaches students across 300 schools in 42 cities, spanning five provinces. Specifically, it offers two core learning streams:

  • Online Math Tutoring Program: Provides dedicated support for mathematical concepts.
  • Comprehensive English and Science Self-Study Program: Covers Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, and Mathematics.
  • Sitarey: Digital Learning Games and Competitions: Engages students through interactive and competitive platforms.

Moreover, Zong recognizes 150 teachers as crucial catalysts for lasting impact. Therefore, the company has provided extensive training to educators in digital instruction and blended learning techniques. This ensures seamless technology integration within classrooms. Consequently, student participation, analytical thinking, and overall learning outcomes improve significantly.

Zong’s Vision: Sustainable Progress Through Technology

Andleeb Aslam, Zong’s official spokesperson, commented on this vital initiative. “At Zong, sustainability means enabling long-term social and economic progress through technology,” she stated. “The Zong Digital Scholars Program perfectly embodies this commitment. It strengthens education through advanced digital tools and future-ready skills for both students and educators.” She further emphasized, “Through strategic partnerships, we consistently strive to create scalable, lasting impact. Ultimately, we contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s development journey by fostering digital education Pakistan.”

This program highlights Zong’s significant role in creating opportunities. It expands access to education, strengthens learning ecosystems, and empowers individuals. Furthermore, it provides tools that support progress far beyond the traditional classroom setting, shaping a brighter future for the nation.
