
International Umpire to Officiate President’s Trophy Matches
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced that West Indies umpire Christopher Mark Taylor will officiate three key matches in the upcoming President’s Trophy Grade-I 2025–26 season. This significant development falls under the prestigious International Cricket Council (ICC) Umpire Exchange Programme, underscoring a commitment to global cricketing collaboration. Christopher Taylor’s Debut in the President’s Trophy
Christopher Mark Taylor is set to make his much-anticipated debut in the tournament. His first assignment is scheduled for Wednesday, where he will officiate the high-stakes match between Ghani Glass and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) at the renowned National Bank Stadium. Furthermore, this initial fixture marks a crucial step in the ICC’s initiative.

Upcoming Assignments and Match Schedule
Beyond his debut, Taylor has two more pivotal matches on his schedule. He will serve as an on-field umpire in the fixture between Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) and SNGPL, slated for January 27 at the KCCA Stadium. Moreover, his third and final assignment will involve the crucial encounter between Sahir Associates and Pakistan Television (PTV), which is scheduled to take place at the National Bank Stadium on February 2. These assignments highlight his central role in the International Umpire President’s Trophy series.
An Experienced Official Joins Pakistan Cricket
Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the Pakistani cricketing scene. He has notably officiated in five women’s One Day Internationals and three women’s T20 Internationals, demonstrating his capability at the international level. Additionally, his extensive domestic record includes standing in 41 first-class, 56 List-A, and 53 T20 matches. His most recent role was in November 2025, where he officiated in the West Indies domestic 50-over competition.
