Karachi Police have recently apprehended two individuals in connection with a harrowing Karachi child abuse investigation. Over the past six years, one of the suspects allegedly abused more than 100 minors. SSP Investigation Usman Sadozai confirmed officers conducted a raid in the Tipu Sultan area. Subsequently, they arrested the main suspect, identified as Imran, along with an alleged accomplice, Waqas Khan. Between 2020 and 2025, Karachi Police recorded seven complaints across various districts of the city. Significantly, DNA samples from all these cases matched a single individual. Identifying the Victims and Modus Operandi
SSP Usman Sadozai disclosed that the victims were boys, typically aged between 12 and 13 years old. According to police reports, the main suspect, Imran, resided in Manzoor Colony and worked as a roadside puncture repairman. Investigators revealed his alleged modus operandi involved luring children by offering motorcycle rides. Police confirmed that DNA evidence conclusively linked Imran to all seven reported cases. Furthermore, in three incidents, child victims also identified him. SSP Sadozai further elaborated on an incident where the suspects took one child to the Surjani area. However, when the child courageously raised an alarm, both suspects immediately fled the scene.
